The 19th Vis Japan will be held as follows. The Rules for the 33rd Vis Moot apply mutatis mutandis. The Vis Japan has both English and Japanese sections. , please refer to this page.

| Eligibility for participation: | University and graduate students (No student who has been licensed to practice law is eligible to participate.) Teams are to be organized by university. |
| Registration fee: | Free *A fee is required to attend the reception party. As a general rule, team members shall participate in the reception party where the award ceremony is held. |
| Registration: | Teams wishing to participate have to check the [Notes on Participation] below and apply using Google Form by December 20 (Sat), 2025. *Please check the entered information carefully before submitting your application. Afterwards, teams have to save a copy of your application sent by the Google Form. |
[Notes on Participation]
- The number of sessions given to one team is if participating only in the English section or if participating in both the English and Japanese sections. Thus, the number of oralists per team is (if participating only in the English section) or (if participating in both the English and Japanese sections). Students other than oralists are welcome to come to obeserve the sessions and support the oralists of the team. ONLY for administrative purpose, we will ask to submit a list of all team members (including members other than oralists).
- Teams have to submit the memorandum for Claimant by December 20 (Sat), 2025 and the memorandum for Respondent by January 31 (Sat), 2026. The memorandum must be submitted in PDF format. The memorandum for Respondent should be prepared without exchanging the memoranda for Claimant with the opposing team. For teams participating in both English and Japanese sections, it is sufficient to submit the memoranda in English instead of submitting both the memoranda in English and in Japanese.
- Submitted memoranda will be distributed to the arbitrators for oral hearings (the timing will be after the deadline for submission of the respondent's memorandum to the Vis Moot) and will be exchanged with the opposing teams approximately one week before the day of the sessions.
- Please carefully check the latest information on the websites of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Japanese consulates in your country to find out whether you need to obtain a visa before entering Japan and how to apply for a visa. If you require any supporting documents in applying for visa, please contact the Vis Japan Pre-moot Committee by email by December 10 (Wed), 2025. Please ensure your registered coach sends emails with his/her email address issued by the university of the team.
- In principle, teams participating in the 19th Vis Japan may have practice of oral hearings with other participating teams. However, after the schedule of the 19th Vis Japan is announced (approximately one week before the Vis Japan), teams are encouraged to not practice with the competing teams nor observe practices or other pre-moot sessions in which the competing teams participate.
